Biographical Information:

ChloePersonal:
I live in Deer Park, TX (a suburb of Houston) with my wife who retired from teaching High School Math in 2013. I have two daughters; one is an elementary school teacher and the other is a veterinarian technician. I have four grandchildren: Chloe, Jackson, Jane and Amelia.

Professional:
I started my educational career in Channelview ISD in 1979. I worked for Pasadena ISD from1984 - 2017.  I taught Choir, General Music, Computer Literacy and Technology Applications in the classroom. I became a technology trainer for the district in 1993, and then my job title changed to Instructional Technology Specialist and finally Curriculum/Technology Specialist. I retired in the summer of 2017.

Musical:
I was choir director for St. Mary's Catholic Church in League City, First Presbyterian in Baytown and First Methodist in Farmersville while going to school (BMed from East Texas State). I have been a choir director in the Channelview and Pasadena school districts. I was the director of the Baytown Community Choir 1981-1984. I served as choir director for La Porte Community Church for 26 years. Currently I attend South Main Baptist in Pasadena where I am a member of the adult choir and hand bells and occasionally fill in as choir director when the minister of music is away. I also sing in the Bay Area Chorus.

Interesting Fact:At JSC astronaut training facilities
In 1999 - 2000 I worked at NASA's Johnson Space Center as a teacher intern in the 'Teaching From Space' program. During that year no shuttle mission launched on schedule and NASA lost 2 Martian probes. I was not asked back.
